For several years, the artist's sister, who lives in San José, Costa Rica, had been following a soap opera on TV. On the last episode, where all the threads were finally going to be nested up, she found herself in a hotel on the Pacific Ocean where there was absolutely no chance to watch the episode on TV.
Asking the maid for help, a woman who had also followed the soap opera since the very first episode, she got ten handwritten pages of detailed descriptions and actions lines.
This is the script the artist used when she decided to recreate the action. She also used people who were usually viewers as actors. All actors are internally displaced or victims of the armed conflict, people living in poor neighborhoods in Bogota, driven from their houses and family and preferably with a violent history, with children, husband, or relatives killed.
